ACCREDITATIONS

NICEIC is the UK's leading voluntary regulatory body for the electrical contracting industry. It has been assessing the electrical competence of electricians for over fifty years and currently maintains a roll of over 26,000 registered contractors.

Choosing an NICEIC registered electrician is the best way to ensure a safe job. Electricians registered with NICEIC are assessed on a regular basis to ensure high standards and their work is checked against the IEE Wiring Regulations BS 7671 as well as other standards.

Founded in 1901, the Electrical Contractors' Association (ECA) is the UK's leading trade association representing the interests of contractors who design, install, inspect, test and maintain electrical and electronic equipment and services.

We have over 3,000 Registered Members who are certified to carry out all types of electrical work. Using an ECA Registered Member gives you peace of mind that all electrical work will be completed to the highest standards. All contractors are thoroughly vetted, highly skilled, and their work is guaranteed.

The Lighting Industry Association was formed in January 2012 from the merging of the Lighting Industry Federation and the Lighting Association and with it 175 years of combined experience in representing the lighting industry in the UK and internationally.

To strengthen the industry and promote the benefits of good quality lighting by representing all aspects of UK, EU and international legislation and standards at the highest level whilst protecting the interests of both the public and Members.
